hi ! i'm april , i'm a 20 year old girl from the uk , i go by she / her . i love music , programming , video games , math, nature & cooking . although recently i have been learning how to skateboard and it has beeeen awesome ! i also have 12 cats , when it comes to nerd shit my favorite programming languages are rust & c , although recently iv been using a lot more haskell and zig , i also love reverse engineering and low level computing , especially when it comes to windows , i'm also very knowledgable when it comes to the jvm (java virtual machine) as iv spent a lot of time studying it's innerworkings ! although i have been a lot more interested in macos , hypervisors & mc modding recently . I ALSO LOVEEE MATH , i love math a lot and i would say i am pretty good at it . outside of being a nerdy dork i really like a lot of musicians and similar in the emo / indie / shoegaze / hyperpop / screamo / experimental scene . my favorite artists include quinn , saoirse dream , teen suicide , seahorsechoke , pinegrove , birth day and more .. in my daily life i live in manchester ! in the uk , and it's pretty awesome , i live near a lot of different parks & stuff so i try to go outside , i try to walk a lot too because there's a lot of cool things to look at as i walk , i also like going to a lot of different types of social areas whether its a bar or a cafe or similar , and i love meeting and talking to new people , and speaking of people i love people !! i love all my friends i love everyone i meet , i try to be nice to others and befriend them although i am very inconsistent when it comes to a lot of different things , i'm also autistic&adhd so i tend to suck really bad when it comes to sarcasm and similar , anyways.... when it comes to cooking i really like to eat fish and similar , i also really like pizza and chicken wings . recently in my life i have been trying to become a better person , and ive also been trying to get into music production , video editng , youtube stuf and also becoming a better skateboarder ( which is kindaaa going well as of writing this .. ) anyways if u read this i love u & i hope u like my site and feel free to contact me but be nice
what i use
when it comes to most of my nerd work , i use a m4 pro macbook pro with 24gb of ram & 512gb of storage . if i'm not on my macbook i use my computer with windows 11 & arch with a r7 9700x, r7700xt & 32gb of ram with 2tb of storage . when it comes to photography & similar i use a sony a7c although i dont use it too much anymore , for my keyboard and mouse i use some random logitech mouse , for my keyboard i just use a keychron 75% smth with the keycaps changed to be cuter . in terms of software , i use a lot of different software depending on the os but i will only go over windows / mac / shared , on windows i use visual studio code / clion / intelji for a majority of development , i use the windows terminal as my terminal , for reverse engineering i use x64dbg , windbg , ghidra , azalea and binary ninja , i also use docker / qemu for a lot of vm/container stuf & similar . on macos i use mainly visual studio code and idea intelji , for my terminal i use ghostty , for my shell i use zsh with starship , for re i use binary ninja and hopper and a lot of other utilities & similar i wrote myself .. oh yea and for the rest of my equipment , i always carry an anker dock with me for adding extra ports onto my macbook , i also use senneheisers accentum plus wireless headphones , for my phone i use a pixel 9 pro with a dbrand case , and i match that with my pixel watch 3 and pixel buds pro 2 , when it comes to dev stuff , for the libraries i use include axum/rocket when doing rust backend stuff , capstone/icedx86 when doing disassembly stuff , i use the winapi crate for rust , (the windows one SUCKS!!) , when it comes to webdev i either use vanilla (like on this site) or i use astro or nextjs
